3 DAYS 3 CAPITALS TRIP
Embark on a remarkable 3-day journey to three captivating European capitals – Budapest, Bratislava, and Vienna. On the first day, our adventure begins in Ljubljana as we set off for Budapest, where you’ll be treated to a comprehensive bus sightseeing tour, allowing you to marvel at Budapest’s iconic landmarks, from the stunning Elizabeth Bridge to the historic Buda Castle and the enchanting Fisherman’s Bastion, as well as the Square of Heros and many more. Afterward, we’ll check in at our accommodation before immersing ourselves in the vibrant and colorful nightlife of Budapest (note that the organized party is an optional additional payment).
On the second day, following breakfast at our Budapest accommodation, you can opt for the famous as well as breathtaking Budapest boat cruise (note that the boat cruise is an optional additional payment), which is one of the best experiences you can enjoy in Budapest as it offers a panoramic view of all of the city’s highlights, or explore Budapest at your own pace if you decide not to join the boat cruise. Later, we’ll continue our journey to Bratislava, where a guided tour will introduce you to the city’s charming attractions, including Michals Tower, the iconic Čumil statue, and the majestic Mozzart Palace. After the tour, we’ll check in at our accommodation, setting the stage for an evening of exploration in Bratislava’s vibrant nightlife.
On the third day, we’ll depart from our Bratislava accommodation (breakfast not included) and make our way to Vienna, one of the world’s most renowned capitals. In Vienna, we’ll embark on a comprehensive city sightseeing tour by bus, followed by a walking tour that allows you to admire the city’s many renowned sights. From the Vienna avenue ring (the Vienna opera, the imperial court Hofbur, the art history and science museum, the parliament with the amazing statue of Atena, the city hall, the Vienna stock exchange building and the Urania building) to the walking tour path (the Maria-Theresien square, the winter residence of the Habsburgs called Hofburg and the St. Stephen’s Cathedral in the main city center), you’ll have the chance to explore Vienna’s grandeur. After the tour, you’ll have free time to soak in the city’s Christmas spirit and luminous decorations before we head back to Ljubljana in the evening.
Rest assured, we’ve planned our departure from Vienna to ensure you can fully embrace the enchanting winter atmosphere, just as you will be able to in Budapest and Bratislava. Join us for an unforgettable journey through three European capitals, rich in culture, history, and holiday charm.
BUDAPEST
Budapest, the enchanting capital of Hungary, is a city that effortlessly blends rich history with contemporary vibrancy. Nestled along the banks of the Danube River, Budapest is renowned for its stunning architectural marvels, from the neo-Gothic Parliament Building to the regal Buda Castle perched atop Castle Hill. The city’s thermal baths, like the iconic Széchenyi and Gellért Baths, offer a unique opportunity for relaxation and rejuvenation. Budapest’s dynamic culinary scene beckons with a delectable array of traditional Hungarian dishes, and its lively ruin bars are the perfect venues to experience the city’s vibrant nightlife. With a backdrop of the Danube’s sparkling waters, Budapest’s scenic beauty is further enhanced by the captivating Chain Bridge and the awe-inspiring Hungarian Parliament, creating an atmosphere that’s both historic and cosmopolitan.
BRATISLAVA
Bratislava, the charming capital of Slovakia, exudes a unique and intimate atmosphere that is both rich in history and infused with a modern spirit. Nestled along the banks of the Danube River, the city boasts a picturesque Old Town with well-preserved medieval streets and iconic landmarks like Michael’s Gate and the whimsical Čumil statue. Its compact size makes Bratislava perfect for leisurely strolls, allowing visitors to discover hidden courtyards and cozy cafes. The imposing Bratislava Castle offers panoramic views of the city and the Danube, and the city’s thriving arts scene is showcased in its vibrant galleries and theaters. With a welcoming ambiance and a blend of Slovak tradition and contemporary culture, Bratislava is a delightful destination that leaves a lasting impression.
VIENNA
Vienna, the capital of Austria, is a city of refined elegance and cultural opulence. It is renowned for its architectural splendor, from the grandeur of the Vienna State Opera to the majestic Schönbrunn Palace, and its historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, that invites exploration with its charming narrow lanes and Baroque facades. Vienna’s rich musical heritage, home to composers like Mozart, Beethoven, and Strauss, continues to resonate through its world-class concert halls and operas, while its coffeehouse culture, where intellectual discussions flourish over a cup of coffee and a slice of Sachertorte, remains an enduring tradition. The city’s commitment to the arts, science, and philosophy can be seen in its numerous museums, including the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Natural History Museum. Vienna’s serene parks and gardens provide a serene contrast to its bustling city life, making it a city that beautifully combines history, culture, and modernity.
