Ljubljana’s old city centre offers a beautiful mix of historic charm and modern life. As you walk through its cobbled streets, you’ll see medieval and Baroque buildings, with the Ljubljana Castle watching over the city from the Castle hill. The old town is full of inviting squares, small cafés and local artisan shops, making it enjoyable for both history lovers and casual visitors. Highlights include bridges like the Triple bridge and Dragon bridge, the Central market and Prešeren square – all located in a pedestrian-friendly area where every corner reflects the city’s rich past.
