Inspired by Slovenia’s restaurant week – a prestigious event where the country’s top fine dining restaurants curate exclusive menus twice a year – we are bringing this gourmet experience to you at a student-friendly price.

WHAT IS SLOVENIA’S RESTAURANT WEEK?

Every spring and autumn, the most renowned Slovenian restaurants take part in this event, offering specially crafted menus that showcase their culinary excellence. Known for its refined gastronomy and premium service, Restaurant week is a celebration of flavours and creativity, making high-end dining more accessible – though still at a luxury price point.

At our Gourmet dinner experience, we’re recreating the essence of Restaurant week – a carefully curated three-course menu, featuring elegant dishes, a touch of fine wine, and an unforgettable dining atmosphere. And the best part? This exclusive experience is available for just 10,00 EUR + 1 student meal voucher!

THE MENU

Just like in Restaurant week, we’re offering two menu options:

1. MENU – MEAT MENU
🥣 Starter: homemade creamy pumpkin soup
🥩 Meat menu: slow-braised beef cheeks in wine sauce, served with creamy mashed potatoes
🍷 Wine pairing: 1 dcl of premium Slovenian red wine to complement the main course
🍰 Sweet surprise: Because no fine dining experience is complete without dessert!

2. MENU – FISH MENU
🥣 Starter: homemade creamy pumpkin soup
🐟 Fish menu: salmon fillet, paired with creamy mashed potatoes
🍷 Wine pairing: 1 dcl of premium Slovenian rose wine to complement the main course
🍰 Sweet surprise: Because no fine dining experience is complete without dessert!

THE GOURMET DINNER EXPERIENCE INFORMATION

Please note that there are two time slots available – 18:00 and 20:00. Be sure to book a spot at the time that suits your schedule! Both time slots are limited to 40 participants.

Event venue: Kampus Food, Pivovarniška ulica 6, 1000 Ljubljana

Event schedule:

17:45 – 18:00 – participant check-in

18:00 – start of the 1st dinner serving

19:50 – 20:00 – participant check-in

20:00 – start of the 2nd dinner serving

The organization of the gourmet dinner experience and all dinner servings.

HOW DO YOU SUCCESSFULLY APPLY

For your application to be fulfilled, you need to settle the costs of the event first! You can receive all of the needed information on how to settle the costs of the event if you write to us on our events email address esnlj.events@gmail.com or just check the available options below.

You can settle the costs of the event the following ways:

1. In-person payment at the ESN Ljubljana office – CLICK HERE FOR OFFICE HOURS

2. Online payment (fienta.com) – CLICK HERE FOR ONLINE PAYMENT
   • with payment card (transaction fee by fienta.com)
3. Bank transfer
   • For bank details please write to our email address esnlj.events@gmail.com. Your proof of payment needs to be sent to the same email address.

PRICE

DISCOUNTED PRICE: 10,00 EUR with Ljubljana Erasmus discount card + 1 student meals coupon (BONI) transaction once you arrive at the dinner venue (restaurant)

FULL PRICE: 15,00 EUR without Ljubljana Erasmus discount card + 1 student meals coupon (BONI) transaction once you arrive at the dinner venue (restaurant)

ONLINE PAYMENT – ADDITIONAL FIENTA FEE: 0,50 EUR (transaction fee by fienta.com)

If you are unable to use a student meal coupon (BONI) upon arrival at the dinner, you will need to pay a 4,00 EUR surcharge to be able to attend the event.
