Hike to Rožnik

Start your exchange in Ljubljana in the best way possible. Swap the city buzz for an easy hike that lets you explore Ljubljana’s nature (The city’s largest park: Park Tivoli), feel that little kick of confidence from doing something new and meet other Erasmus students at a relaxed pace with plenty of time to chat along the way; last February more than 150 of us joined and it turned into one of the most memorable days, so if you want great views, good conversations and an instant sense of connection with other Erasmus students, don’t miss it.

After the hike, we will keep the vibe going with a relaxed meet-and-greet event at Kampus Food. There’ll be special drink prices, a laid-back atmosphere and the perfect chance to properly connect with everyone who joined the hike and hang out together well into the evening (and late night). 🍻

ROŽNIK

Rožnik is a green hill right in the heart of Ljubljana, perfect for an easy walk or a short hike. With calm forest trails and a few great viewpoints, it’s a quick escape into nature without leaving the city, especially since it sits inside Tivoli City Park, Ljubljana’s largest park.

HIKE INFORMATION

We will depart for this easy hike on the 13th of February at 15:00 from our ESN Ljubljana office (Pivovarniška ulica 6, 1000 Ljubljana). We will be gathering at the departure location (CLICK HERE) from 14:45 until 15:00, when we will start our hike.

The hike is easy and can be done in ordinary sneakers. Preferably use sports sneakers and check the weather conditions before leaving your home.
